Analog AI CEO Discusses “Creating A Future Without Limits”

In a new series Intelligent Future, CNN’s Becky Anderson sits down with Analog AI founder and CEO Alex Kipman to discuss how real-time, sensor-driven technology could transform the way we live in a human-driven AI future.

Kipman says the company’s mission is to use sensor data to understand the world. He tells Anderson, "It’s a quest to understand four things: people, places, things, and creatures. And if you think about it with those simple four constructs, you can explain the entire world that you and I live in." He continues, "The purpose of the company, is to create a future without limits."

Ethics and trust are pressing issues impacting the AI industry. Kipman says it is important that every company keeps them at the forefront, "Security, privacy, ethics, they’re not something that you think at a company level should differentiate you. It’s something that you should take as bare minimum for us as an industry to have permission to operate."

Analog AI is based in Abu Dhabi and Kipman speaks about how the city is developing, "If you’re thinking about what will Abu Dhabi look like 15 years from now, I look at the past as the best indicator of future. Imagine what Abu Dhabi was 15 years ago, which is knowable, and look at the amount of progress that happened since, and prorate that forward because it’s not slowing down, it’s speeding up."
