Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy and Stallion AI Join Hands To Promote Entrepreneurship In Artificial Intelligence

The Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (Dubai SME), an agency of the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) in Dubai, has signed a co-operation agreement with Stallion AI, a leading provider of AI (Artificial Intelligence) solutions, services and products, to enable entrepreneurs in the UAE to seize investment opportunities in the AI segment.

As part of the agreement Stallion AI will provide entrepreneurs in the region with the necessary knowledge to establish AI enterprises so that they can capitalise on the vast opportunities for machine learning applications across various commercial and industrial sectors. The training and consulting programmes offered by Stallion AI will pivot emerging companies towards the UAE and the region.

Initiatives planned as part of the co- agreement include capacity-building in AI and related entrepreneurship promotion through an ‘Artificial Intelligence Citizenship’ programme, which will be offered on AIQOM, the world’s first Artificial Intelligence digital citizenship platform.
A ‘Certified Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneur (CAIE)’ programme will also be offered under the agreement, in partnership with the American University of Rochester in Dubai, and Dubai Next, the first crowdfunding platform in the UAE that empowers the young and ambitious to develop their ideas into viable business projects.

The six-week CAIE programme targets university students, entrepreneurs and professionals in the UAE to familiarize them with best practices, frameworks and tools necessary to establish an Artificial Intelligence project. It also teaches the basics of machine learning products, developing a business model, and the Artificial Intelligence Start-up Canvas blueprint.

The CAIE programme will also be run on the AIQOM platform where users can easily learn, innovate, and monetise AI through the platform hubs: AI Academy, AI Lab, AI Network and AI Marketplace.

Ibtihal Al Naji, Director of the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy, said: "Through this agreement with Stallion AI, we want to bring to life the vision of the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy in enabling the new generation of entrepreneurs to discover new entrepreneurial sectors. Together, we are offering a portal to new horizons for entrepreneurs, whether they are investors, programmers, or even graduates. By employing fourth-generation technologies and modern technology, we can usher in a new era of advanced national projects that will serve the government and the private sector within the strategic plan of the UAE for the next 50 years.”

Al Naji added that AI has become a catalyst for innovative projects in new and emerging sectors, providing significant support to financing of entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as to the government, investors, and society as a whole. “The Certified Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneur programme will also bridge the funding gap for entrepreneurs in the AI sector by allowing them to share their ideas on the Dubai Next platform and pitch for funds.”
Samer Obeidat, CEO of Stallion AI, said: “Artificial intelligence continues to change the world we live in today. The global economy is expected to grow by $15.7 trillion in 2030 due to AI, according to PwC’s Global Artificial Intelligence Study. Therefore, individuals and organisations need to become “Artificial Intelligence citizens” to continue working effectively in the future AI nation. Attaining this status will enable today’s professionals to navigate the new digital world defined by a new economic reality and a new way of life.”
