How To Increase Your Webinar Attendance

And you’re live in 3! 2! 1! But wait, where’s your audience?

Hosting a webinar sounds like a piece of cake, but in reality, it’s much more difficult than that. The success of your webinar lands solely in the hands of your audience, so you want to attract a large crowd.

Here are some ways to increase your attendance rate:

  1. Pick the Correct Time and Day

You don’t inconvenience your audience by choosing an awkward time or the wrong day. Therefore, it’s vital to pick the right time and day to host your webinar, especially if you have viewers from all over the globe you need to choose a time that fits into everybody’s schedule simultaneously!

Usually, the correct day to host a webinar would be on a weekday, such as Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. These 3 days have the highest number of attendances compared to other days.

Additionally, the correct time to hold your webinar would be between 11 am to 2 pm. Of course, with 12:30 pm being an exception because of lunchtime.

  1. Give Them A Reason to Join

As the host, it’s your job to keep your audience entertained. But how exactly will you capture their attention? Try indulging your audience with special strategies that only a handful of people know because people always want to see something they’ve never seen before, so this will capture their attention and spark curiosity about what you have to say.

  1. Follow-Up Legend

Once your audience RSVP’s you don’t want to chase them away by bombarding them with dozens of emails. But you still need to crack the deal, so try to sweeten them up.

Tell them about a ‘show up’ bonus you are offering for people who attend the live webinar, although, make sure to include that at the end of the segment so they are required to stay throughout the entire event.

  1. Sorry No Recording Allowed

I know you’re sceptical, but hear us out! Although this might sound crazy one mistake that’s often made by most webinar holders is informing your audience you will be sending a recording of the webinar.

Because then you’re giving them the incentive to skip your webinar. Certainly, they must be informed that you intend to share the recording with them because it’s a good marketing tool.

But instead, incentivize them differently maybe offer a paid recording to viewers that couldn’t attend the live show. Although, if your goal is to spread awareness of your cause you could also upload your recording on social media platforms.

  1. So, I Can Have This for Free?

Who doesn’t love free stuff, nothing captures attention more than ‘Free Stuff!’ To capitalize on this method, offer gifts to attendees that show up.

You could give them a coupon for your products, or an exclusive one on one with you. Try to relate it to your topic if you can, it doesn’t have to be but this would be a great way for you to market yourself!

  1. Scarcity Detected!

Humans are competitive by nature, using this information in the right way could be very beneficial for you. Here’s an idea, tell your audience that there are limited spaces available and if they want to attend the webinar, log in early.

This will pique their interest, why is there limited space? Is this a popular topic? Are they talking about something critical? This catalyst will most likely increase your attendance rate!

But these are just a few tips and tricks to try! Keep marketing and updating your social media accounts too! That should do the trick!
